Things are as busy as ever as we near the end of the year!
In November, as part of a massive three-day spay/neuter event in Mexico in addition to the regular spays/neuters here and there, 566 dogs and 653 cats were fixed! That’s a whopping 1,219 spays and neuters in ONE MONTH. These huge numbers bring our totals for the year to 1,023 and 1,535, respectively, and 2,558 total!
November also saw 11 rescue cats, bringing our total for the year to 153, and the Hero Fund was used to help 1 kitty.
The number you’ve all been waiting to see, which is the number of puppies and kittens prevented from being born into a life on the street, is UP TO 19,185!!
Our volunteers and donors are so important in the fight to end animal homelessness. By securing 50 new monthly donors at just $10 a month, we will spay/neuter 500 additional animals and prevent 3,750 future homeless puppies and kittens in 2024.
