Pet Project Rescue strives to be the solution to companion animal overpopulation and homelessness. In an effort to help animals that are not traditionally seen as adoptable, Pet Project Rescue created a number of programs to address the needs of companion animals far and wide.
Our programs include:
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR): A spay/neuter program to humanly manage the local community cat population.
Lukas Project: A foster based hospice program for terminally ill cats and dogs.
Mexico Spay/Neuter Clinics & Rescue: Along side our many Mexico rescue partners, we work to better the lives of dogs and cats in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico through spay/neuter clinics and rescue.
Barn Cat Placement: A spay/neuter and adoption program to address the needs of under-socialized/feral cats in local high-kill shelters.
Hero Fund: A donation based fund used to provide free vet care to owned and homeless animals who would otherwise not receive vet care. The funds are used for animals that come through any of our spay/neuter clinics from MN to Mexico.
Disaster Relief Fund: A donation based fund used to provide support for animals in need of rescue due to natural disasters. We are currently raising funds to support the animals effected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston, TX and the surrounding area. We are currently rescuing unowned animals and finding them homes in MN.
